Here's the thing, I play with a bunch of old guys, there's one girl in her mid-20's as well but the point is that I feel like out band might be a little stuck. I know we can get bigger gigs around our city at casinos and places like that and while that is cool and everything we will never be able to go "all the way" and sometimes that is a little frustrating. It is a fact that our band is one of the best in our city and we have even gotten some exposure around the state, but nationwide? wordwide? It can never happen with people who have mortgage and car payments. Oh well, I think I'll enjoy it while I can (don't get me wrong, I know how awesome it is to be in a good band who is regularly playing gigs, and I love it). Maybe someday I'll get with some more people my age who are looking to step out and maybe even up.
